Kerala's Charm: Culture, Nature, Heritage & Horizon
How about spending a week in Kerala, with a distinctive experience scheduled for each day? Despite just a few hours of travel, it will feel as if you’ve transitioned through distinct seasons, with the significant changes in weather, topography, terrain, culture, and heritage. This 7-night, 8-day Kerala package from My Kerala Tour Package takes you to some of the most iconic tourist destinations, including Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, Alappuzha, Kovalam, and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, and Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu.
Kochi and Kovalam showcase the beautiful Kerala coastlines, while Munnar is a cool highland renowned for its tea gardens and misty viewpoints. Kochi is celebrated for its rich heritage, featuring historic ports and colonial streets. Thekkady is famous for its spice plantations and wildlife reserves. Alappuzha, also known as Alleppey, offers a unique experience of backwater cruising in traditional kettuvallams (houseboats). The relaxed seaside atmosphere and lighthouse views in Kovalam provide a contrasting, more Western vibe.
Kanyakumari is known for its breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, as well as the meeting point of three oceans: the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean. Thiruvananthapuram seamlessly blends culture and tradition with its beautiful palaces, museums, temples, and more.
This trip offers you a journey through different terrains, namely: coastlines, mountains, backwaters, cities, towns, villages, and many more. Although Kochi, Kovalam, Kanyakumari, and Thiruvananthapuram are coastlines, the vibe these regions offer is distinct from each other. Similarly, while Munnar offers a cozy tea trail through the misty tea gardens on the mountain slopes, Thekkady offers an adventurous ride through the dense woods of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Aleppey, on the other hand, is globally renowned for the Kettuvallam experience. It is the only place in the world that offers a traditional houseboat experience in a mobile platform.
